Dr. Mackenzie Schleicher grew up in Southern New Hampshire and graduated cum laude in 2014 with a B.A. in Biology from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Schleicher was a two-time Academic All-American lacrosse athlete. Dr. Schleicher graduated from Stony Brook University, School of Dental Medicine in 2020, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honorary distinctions in both clinic and ethics. Dr. Schleicher then completed post-graduate residency training in 2021 at Woodhull Hospital (a New York University program) in Brooklyn, NY. Since then, Dr. Schleicher has decided to relocate to CT, offering both proximity to her family on Long Island and to her New England roots. Dr. Schleicher’s interests outside of dentistry include sports, fitness, boating/fishing, and most of all, quality time spent with family and friends.
Dr. Schleicher’s goals with Dental Associates of CT are to be a part of a family-oriented dental practice, built upon a foundation of patient-centered care, evidence-based dentistry, and patient continuity. Dr. Schleicher has a passion for oral health education and inspiration, thereby gaining patient trust and confidence through her exceptional, personalized dental care.
