Charles Silk, DDS

Prosthodontist

Dr. Charles Silk graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1983. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Advance Education Program in Prosthodontics from NYUCD. He specializes in cosmetic dentistry, implants, crowns, and dentures. For the past 10 years, he has been an Associate Clinical Professor at NYC College of Dentistry teaching both at the doctoral and postdoctoral level. He is a recipient of the I. Kenneth Addison Prosthodontic Award and won first prize at the American College of Prosthodontics annual meeting.

He has authored numerous publications, been interviewed on radio, and lectured nationally in cosmetic and prosthetic dentistry. He is the past president of the New York Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, a chapter of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Society, New York County Dental Society and International Academy for Dental Facial Aesthetics. He has taken some of the most difficult cosmetic cases and has restored them to create the most beautiful smiles. His patients include models, actors, and celebrities.

Dr. Silk enjoys traveling with his family, has played professional basketball internationally, and loves to ski and bike. He has traveled as far as New Zealand and Switzerland pursuing his skiing interests. He also enjoys local skiing and shows his support by contributing to the Hunter Mountain Ski Team in upstate New York. Aside from his work in the dental arena, he also donates his time, energy, and resources to a number of charitable causes, including Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Mark Waldman, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Mark Waldman received his BS degree in biology from City College of New York. He then graduated with a DMD degree from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Waldman is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist. He loves working with entire families and creating beautiful, healthy, and perfect smiles. Dr. Waldman strives to make his patients as comfortable as possible by creating an atmosphere that is warm and inviting. He was even voted “Dentist with the Best Sense of Humor” in Connecticut.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Waldman is an avid sports fan and biker. His interests include travel and the study of history and astronomy.

Rebecca Sonick, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Rebecca Sonick grew up in Fairfield, CT and graduated magna cum laude from Connecticut College in New London. She achieved her D.D.S. from the University of Texas, where she was awarded for her work in Periodontics. She completed a General Practice Residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT, where she received additional training in dental trauma, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, dental implants, endodontics, TMJ Dysfunction, and the management of medically complex patients. Dr. Sonick attended the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she focused on TMJ and Smile Design.  

Dr. Sonick values meaningful patient relationships and prides herself on providing quality dentistry. She strives for healthy smiles on everyone who comes into her office and is excited to be a part of a cutting-edge practice that prioritizes patient comfort and excellent care.  

In her free time, she likes to dance, spend time outdoors, and relax with family and friends.
